NEW YEARS EVE
Ash from the Fairlie Top 10 Holiday Park and Fairlie District Promotions Association has organised a Family Evening in the Fairlie Domain.
Starts at 8pm New Years Eve - family entertainment, music, dancing and prizes.
So pick up your rug, some nibbles and your dancing shoes and join them in the Domain until
11.30pm, then head up to the Fairlie Village Green to see in the New Year at the town Bonfire with the Mackenzie Highland Pipe Band.
Start your evening with a booking at the Rimuwhare for a New Year’s Eve Family Night with Buffet dinner on the Verandah from 5pm. Telephone (03) 685 8058 for bookings.
NEW YEAR’S DAY
The Fairlie Heritage Museum organise the annual New Year’s Day Parade along Fairlie’s Main Street. Starting around 1.30pm from the Museum and heading down the Main Street this is a popular parade of vintage machinery, tractors and local floats, led by the Mackenzie Highland Pipe Band.
2ND JANUARY EVENTS
Start the day with the Fairlie Lion’s Fundraiser Campers Breakfast held at the Fairlie Top 10 Holiday Park.
Then head on up to Kimbell for Kimbell Day. All day BBQ and entertainment and a great family fun day out.
Pillow Fighting, Sheaf Tossing, Tractor Pull, Horse Racing, Lollypop in the HAY, Egg Throwing.
Starts behind the Silverstream Hotel at 1.30pm.
